Behind the Scenes - Upcoming Video

So here's a fun little piece of the puzzle that is "what the hell am I doing with this blog?"

I'm not the kind of creator that wants to just make every video he works on a mystery until it goes live. I've never seen the point, unless you're a creator like Chuggaaconroy who teases their Let's Play videos. Which is a really good reason IMO. But yeah, for me... I'm pretty open about what I'm working on.

So why not make that a talking point here?

Fun fact: there wasn't a real plan to make any content around my recent playthrough of HeartGold. Not even a concept of a plan. But when I got around to replaying it, I thought hey, why not slap on the old Pokewalker and wear it around while I walk the baby to sleep, or walk him around the store, or walk him around the market downtown... I walk the baby a lot.

That took me down the rabbit hole of learning more about how the game actually works compared to Gold and Silver version; how swarms were changed, the lottery in the dept. store, how to cheat at Voltorb Flip, and of course more about how the Pokewalker itself works. Because holy shit did I know less than I thought I did about it.

The Pokewalker wasn’t just a pivotal piece to the Gen2 remake experience, it helped me to recapture the spark of friendship that originally brought myself and my closest friends in high school together.

Thankfully I don't anticipate this project being more than a 5-10 minute video, so filming and post-production shouldn't take much time at all. Which means I might actually get this one out before the end of Q1?!

A guy can dream, right?
